1st Visit to Turf Club
OOo... this is so back dated! Singapore Turf Club (the Kranji one), went there for the first time on Saturday after my tuition at admiralty! Wow.. an eye opener! Hehe... My cousin... Ah Hui's last day, so my two aunties, granny and her sis and myself went to gave her support! She worked in Turf as a stablehand...
Her passion for horses is really impressive! Imagine... A NUS graduate... gave up an engineer job offering (starting pay about 3k) and work as an aprrentice in New Zealand stable. Despite the many objections from my family members, she went there alone and has to deal with many issues from housing, racism, working in a male dominating environment and etc... She is really tough and great! Give her credit on her bravery!
Anyway back to Turf... So its my first visit there... Hmmm.. kinda impress with the designation of the place. Evrything is cool.. except.. for the amount of RUBBISH! So much for clean and green Singapore ehz... The seating areas are filled with betting tickets, empty bottles, horsey manuals and newspapers and etc... Poor cleaners, the amount of waste they have to clear! Gosh... Singaporeans (actually quite a number of malaysians) do some reflection on the littering habits!
Just a bit of side tracks... This year is the year of leaving for my Family!
Feburary : My brother left for Australia
March: My Eldest cousin Ah Hui left for New Zealand
April: Me... Missy Lin leaving for States
May: My another cousin Ming leaving for Europe; Joyce leaving for Germany
June..... We will c... hehe...
